The King Room features a well-stocked fridge and a unique jar of homemade sweets that add a personal touch not often found in places at this level. Breakfast stands out due to the use of local premium produce, with the homemade jam being a delicious highlight.
The open windows let in a bit of road noise in the mornings, which might disrupt those who prefer absolute quiet. The guest house is very much family-oriented, meaning no loud activities post-curfew, which could feel restrictive to some without a family setting. Parking can be a bit limited if during peak times, which may add a minor inconvenience for late arrivals.

We had an amazing time! The pool was fantastic for relaxing and the garden area was a perfect spot to unwind with a book. The only thing was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin our fun. 😊

It was just a commendable fit for a whistle-stop in Torquay with good value for money. The bed was extremely comfy, making it a great place to rest. Keep the windows closed if you're sensitive to noise in the morning.

missingWrote a review on Jun 04comfortable roomhomemade treatsdecent distanceroad noise
Exceptionally comfortable King Room featuring a silent fridge stocked with fresh milk, a Nespresso machine, and homemade treats like rocky road and fudge. Proximity is decent, about a 20-minute straight walk to the seafront, making it accessible even during busy times.
Road noise can be an issue, especially in the morning if you leave the window open, which impacts the overall tranquility of the stay. While the charming ambiance is notable, certain areas require steep climbs to return, which could tire less mobile guests. the limited evening dining options nearby don't enhance convenience when exploring culinary delights.
